Joelle is a recent graduate of Claremont McKenna College, where she earned a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. Prior to joining Evergreen, she spent a year in Korea as a Fulbright scholar, teaching English at a rural high school. As a researcher, she has worked on healthcare policy at the Office of U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders and the Urban Institute.

Based in Los Angeles, California, Joelle enjoys hiking on weekends and reading in her free time.
