Rika supports the firm’s administrative functions, as well as policy research, media monitoring, and thought leadership for her clients. She is particularly interested in reproductive and workers’ rights, climate and sustainability, and racial justice education.

Before joining Evergreen, Rika worked at the Davis Center, the student-facing center of the DEI office at Williams College, where she managed a fellowship program. As an undergraduate, she conducted independent research projects on Japan’s dual citizenship laws and women’s and LGBTQIA+ rights advocacy in Tokyo.

Rika is based in the Twin Cities, where she enjoys going on long walks, hoarding books, and spending time with her family. She graduated from Williams College with a degree in Political Science and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and a concentration in Asian American Studies.
