Makena conducts research and tracks media in support of her clients. She has strong interests in accountable tech, sustainable business, and education.

Prior to Evergreen, Makena completed several internships in the public and private sectors. She most recently interned at Chemonics International, where she supported proposal development efforts for development projects in West and Central Africa.

Makena is based in Massachusetts and recently graduated from American University, earning a B.A. in International Studies and a minor in French. She enjoys playing tennis, reading historical fiction, and baking. She also loves a variety of beverages and can often be found with several glasses and mugs of tea, coffee, or smoothies on her desk.
