Dan helps leaders find their voice, develop impactful strategies, and craft powerful public engagement campaigns. He has served in the U.S. Senate, at the State Department, in the White House, and on multiple presidential campaigns. He is a longtime advisor and speechwriter for Hillary Clinton, and was her principal collaborator on three #1 New York Times bestselling books. 

Dan has taught speechwriting at George Washington University and the University of Southern California. He is a senior fellow at the USC’s Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership & Policy.

Dan lives in Washington, D.C. with his wife YJ and their sons Theo and Jamie.
