Laurie is a senior at Columbia University, majoring in English on a pre-law track. Prior to Evergreen, she worked in strategic communications for legal advocacy organizations like the American Civil Liberties Union and the Innocence Project. She also serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Columbia's official literary magazine and was the 2025 Diversity, Equity, and Social Justice Director for the Columbia Undergraduate Law Review. Outside of work, Laurie enjoys junk journaling and playing with her cat.
